Stll Here, Still Stoked - A little Update from Port Royal
Hey everyone.
So… it's been a minute since we've dropped a blog post. We know, we know. But trust us — we haven't been sitting around. We've been heads-down, grinding after hours, keeping this whole thing moving forward. Turns out running a coastal apparel brand as a passion project takes a little more than a couple of good ideas and some cold beers on the beach. Who knew, haha.
Anyway, we wanted to pop in and catch you up on what's been going on around here.
Getting Out There
One of the best things we've done lately is get out to some local events. There's nothing quite like handing someone a piece of gear in person, watching them check it out, and seeing that little spark when they're actually stoked on the design. That real-world feedback? Gold. You can't get that from a screen.
And honestly — a massive thank you to everyone who's come out, said hey, and grabbed some gear. Every single purchase means the world to us. Getting to meet you, hear your stories, and see people genuinely fired up about what we're making has been the best part of all of this. You're the reason we keep pushing.
New Hats Just Dropped
Big news on this front — we teamed up with a new supplier for our hats, and we could not be happier with how they turned out. A few of the new styles are already live on the site right now. Check out the whole lineup over in the Headwear collection.
We're genuinely proud of these ones. The quality, the fit, the look — it all came together. So if you've been eyeing a new lid, don't sleep on it. Grab one while you can, because once they're gone, they're gone.
Boardshorts Are Coming (And We're Pumped)
We've been working closely with our boardshort designer on some fresh new styles, and things are moving. We're just starting to get samples back from the factories, which is always a fun milestone. Seeing an idea go from a sketch to something you can actually hold in your hands never gets old.
Here's the fun part: we're taking a few of these samples with us to Costa Rica in early August for some proper in-water testing. Yeah — that's right. We're going surfing. For research. It's a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it, haha.
We're aiming to have the new shorts dialed in and ready for Spring 2027. Worth the wait, we promise.

Why We Do This
There is a LOT that goes into all of this. Like… a lot. And when you remember this is an after-hours passion project for all of us, it can get pretty wild. But that's exactly what makes it special.
We're not doing this to chase some giant corporate dream. We're doing it because we genuinely love surfing, watersports, and having a creative outlet to pour ourselves into. Our hope is that all of that love shows up in the designs and in the product you get in your hands.
